Paxton has spent his career in the arena of Republican politics, from presidential campaigns and Senate battlegrounds to governor's races and the local contests where margins are measured in dozens of votes. He has run races across the country, built campaigns from the ground up, and held leadership roles on some of the most consequential campaigns in recent Kentucky history, including former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's re-election and Daniel Cameron's campaign for Governor.
He has worked at some of the most elite Republican consulting firms in the United States, building fundraising, digital, and communications programs for presidential, Senate, and gubernatorial campaigns, from national efforts for President Donald J. Trump to Bernie Moreno's upset of Sherrod Brown in Ohio. Along the way, he has helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars for Republican candidates and causes.
His work extends well beyond the ballot. Paxton advises officeholders, businesses, and organizations on political strategy, and has formed political action committees to advance their priorities. He works in close coordination with the party's national committees, including the NRSC and NRCC, and brings a network across the Republican consulting world that few independent strategists can match.
